An e-learning is a digital learning experience that you can complete for yourself at any time. You can learn at your own pace.
A virtual event is led by a trainer and takes place at a specific time via a virtual tool (e.g. MS Teams).
We reserve the right to cancel the event due to insufficient demand at least 4 weeks before the scheduled event date) or for other important reasons beyond our control (e.g. sudden illness of the speaker, force majeure). In the event of cancellation, you will be informed immediately by the thyssenkrupp Academy.
The Digital Learning Library provides all un-locked employees access to a huge amount of digital learning resources in the field of Communication, Leadership, Information technology, Management und Strategy. Various learning formats like e-learnings, videos and pdf documents in up to 17 languages allow individual learning experiences. Learning channels and learning paths guide you through different topics, covering e.g. the thyssenkrupp core competencies and leadership competencies.
If there are currently no bookable dates listed, please feel free to use the "Request alternative date" function via we.learn. As soon as new dates are available, you will be informed automatically.
Registration takes place via we.learn. Here you can register independently - via self-service - for our learning offerings. On each program page in the program catalog and on our website, there is a direct link to the corresponding program on we.learn. On we.learn, you will find more information about the content, dates, prices and locations of the respective programs. Your registration is binding. Please ensure that you have considered and complied with your local approval process before registering. If you have any questions or uncertainties, your local HR department will be happy to help.
It is possible that the selected program is already fully booked for the desired date. You are welcome to register anyway. You will then receive a seat on the waiting list. If a seat becomes available, you will be informed immediately.
Via your learning history in we.learn, you can download your certificate of attendance at any time after completing your program.
The registration fee can be found on the respective program page. This includes catering during the program as well as the documentation and does not include accommodation and travel costs.
If you wish to cancel your registration, it is not sufficient to cancel the Outlook calendar entry. Please cancel your registration directly in we.learn.
Cancellation is free of charge until four weeks prior to program start. If you have to cancel your participation, please cancel your room reservation as well. Cancellations in external venues (for example hotels) may incur cancellation charges.
Accommodation costs are not included in the program fees. We will gladly inform you in due time about the costs and the reservation process of the respective venue.

It is not possible to reserve a participant seat.
Rebooking is free of charge until four weeks prior to program start. After means a cancellation of the currently booked program. Therefore, cancellation fees apply for the cancellation.
Unfortunately, registrations for other participants are not possible. The registration always takes place via 8ID and the corresponding password.

If any preparation is necessary, you will receive further information from us before the program starts.
At the end of the program, you will receive a notice from we.learn to participate in an online evaluation. The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes. We are happy to receive any feedback.
In the interest of networking, we welcome everyone to attend the dinner. Of course it is not mandatory.
For data protection reasons, we are unfortunately unable to send you a list of participants in advance.
For this purpose, please contact the appropriate hotel.
The room rates we have negotiated with the hotels are all based on single bookings per room. Please contact the hotel directly to discuss your request and to clarify the billing. In addition, we would like to point out that participation in elements of the program such as dinners for partners is not possible.
After completion of a program your company, stored in your personal profile in we.learn, will automatically receive an invoice in the amount of the participant fee. If the information is not correct, please contact your local HR representative.
