Who should attend
Current or future Project Sponsors, Senior Manager, Executives.
What you learn
One of the most common reasons why projects fall short is a lack of executive sponsorship and management buy-in. Research found that 68% of companies do not have effective sponsorship (source: Project Management Survey 2010 / KPMG New Zealand) and that the Project Sponsor has as big an influence on the outcome of the project as the Project Manager (source: Aspects of Complexity: Managing Projects in a Complex World, T. Cooke-Davies).
This executive half day program provides an overview of the most important cornerstones of project management and drills into the challenges of combining the interests of the line organization and the project organization. In an interactive workshop format, participants will go into the typical traits of a good project sponsor and how the sponsor can lead the project to success.
