Who Should Attend
This training is aimed at purchasing managers, strategic and operational purchasing, category managers, buyers, supplier management/SRM, procurement excellence as well as those responsible for tenders, contract and price negotiations. It also addresses interface roles from quality, logistics, technology/engineering, finance/controlling, legal/compliance and IT (e.g. ERP/SRM) that work on processes, supplier management and data. The prerequisite for participation is basic knowledge of AI and prompting.
What You Learn
"In this training, you will learn how to use AI in procurement safely and effectively – from needs clarification and tendering (RFQ/RFP) to bid comparison, cost analysis and negotiation support to contract and supplier management. You will develop practical prompt and template modules, e.g. for specifications, RFx documents, supplier communication, offer evaluations, should-cost lines of argumentation, negotiation guidelines, meeting minutes as well as risk and action lists. One focus is on quality assurance and responsible use: confidentiality, data protection, compliance, anti-corruption, antitrust sensitivities as well as clear review and approval criteria for ""send/decision-ready"" results."
How You Learn
Short impulses provide the necessary foundation for making meaningful use of AI in procurement. Interactive collaboration creates exchange and direct application. Prepared prompts for typical shopping tasks can be tried out and individually adapted – and practical tests in the AI tool immediately anchor what has been learned. In this way, theory quickly becomes practice – and curiosity becomes real competence.
Your Benefits
You significantly reduce the effort for recurring purchasing documents and communication and gain time for value-adding work (negotiation, supplier development, risk management). Your tenders, evaluations and decision-making bases become more consistent and comprehensible. You will increase security in the handling of sensitive supplier and price data as well as compliance requirements. With ready-to-use templates, prompts and checklists, you can transfer what you have learned directly into your everyday work and empower your team step by step for AI in procurement.
