Excel – Discovering and using the basics

Who Should Attend
The Excel Basic training is aimed at anyone who has little prior knowledge of Microsoft Excel but would like to learn the first steps and basic functions and tools of this powerful software. If you want to simplify your everyday work and the processing of numbers in the future, this course offers you the basis for an general overview. It also serves as preparation for the Excel Advanced Training. To participate in the Excel basic training course, you are expected to be familiar with the contents of the beginner training course (good knowledge of the program interface, simple data entry, and text formatting).

What You Learn
The course covers the most basic functions for everyday work and enables you to make simple data entries and formatting. The course covers the following topics:

• Filters
• Cell formatting
• Conditional formatting
• Dropdown menus
• Creating appealing tables
• First steps with formulas and functions
• The most helpful keyboard shortcuts

How You Learn
This is an interactive course with practical units in which you can directly apply what you have previously learned and thus better memorize it. The course takes place virtually via MS Teams or on site. A laptop with Excel is required, a mouse is recommended.
