PowerBI - Discovering and using the basics

Who Should Attend
All employees who would like to learn how to create meaningful and interactive dashboards and visually process and link data and information for different target groups. Perhaps you have already heard of PowerBI or seen a dashboard and would like to learn how to create them yourself. This training is meant to be an introduction to the world of PowerBI and shows you the first steps with the tool. In addition, this program is aimed at employees who have already gained initial experience with PowerBI and would like to acquire a structured basic qualification.
What You Learn
The program offers you an overview of the possibilities of PowerBI and how to use it in your day-to-day work. The aim of the training is to enable you to use the basic functions of PowerBI with confidence. In addition to tips on working with data, you will learn how to create your own dashboards, how to customize the view and how to use the software in different application areas. You will be able to provide ready-made dashboards and create a live preview, such as from simple data combinations.
What is PowerBI?
Power BI allows you to import data from various sources and visualize it in appealing charts and reports. This data can be explored interactively. Powerful analysis tools and real-time data integration make it easy to work with existing datasets. You can easily share reports and integrate them into Microsoft products. The platform is scalable, cloud-based and mobile. It also enables companies to make data-driven decisions and gain insights into their data.
How You Learn
As part of the interactive workshop, which can take place online or in person, you will learn the basics of PowerBI together with other participants. The goal is to combine theory with practice by supplementing the theoretical units with practical exercises. This technically requires PowerBI to be set up on your laptop. If PowerBI has not yet been set up on your laptop, you are welcome to set it up yourself or ask your IT department for advice.
