Who Should Attend
The Power Query basic training course is designed for anyone who has little or no experience with Power Query and would like to take their first steps with this powerful data preparation tool. In this course you will learn the fundamental functions and tools to process and consolidate data more efficiently - much more effectively than is possible with Excel alone. If you regularly need to prepare or consolidate data in your day-to-day work, this course will provide you with a solid foundation and a clear introduction to Power Query. Previous knowledge of Power Query is not required to participate. However, you should be familiar with the basic operation of the Excel interface.

What You Learn
The course covers the most basic functions for everyday work and enables you to load simple data sources using Power Query in Excel and perform data transformations. The training covers the following topics:

• Connecting different data sources with Power Query/Excel
• Introduction to the program interface
• First data transformations using Power Query
• Merging different data sources and queries

How You Learn
This is an interactive course with practical units where you can directly apply what you have learned, helping you to better retain the information. The course takes place virtually via MS Teams or on-site. A laptop with installed Excel is required, and a mouse is recommended.
