Christmas season is also the time to look back and as we all realize, our world is in a state of upheaval and the changes are also noticeable for us in our day-to-day work. Whether it's the global impact of the pandemic, the tense geopolitical situation, the recession, the shortage of skilled workers and the majority of organizations switching to a hybrid working model, we are all, employees, managers and organizations, facing massive challenges. This increasing dynamism and complexity in all areas can be summed up in one word: "dynaxity" (dynamic + complex).
This high degree of "dynaxity", uncertainty and change means that many organizations are reaching their limits with conventional management approaches and previously successful and familiar leadership and management approaches are no longer effective.
We all can only succeed in rethinking if managers, employees and organizations develop new forms of leadership and collaboration. Management should therefore always be a team game – this becomes even clearer in a world of increasing dynaxity.
