Operational Excellence (OPX) refers to the consistent implementation of the corporate strategy. It is a combination of quality improvement, customer focus, process management and speed as well as the ability to learn and change. The aim is to make companies successful in competition. The thyssenkrupp Academy runs Lean/Six Sigma programs under the OPX category, which ensure quality along the entire value chain: While LEAN focuses on non-value-adding components (waste), SIX SIGMA is dedicated to optimizing value creation and existing processes.
